HealthSprout Terms of Service

1. Agreement Acceptance
Welcome to HealthSprout! By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the HealthSprout application, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions of this Terms of Service ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to this Agreement, please do not use the service.
2. Service Description
HealthSprout is a step-to-tree growing application that converts users' daily steps into points to nurture virtual saplings. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Step tracking and point conversion system
- Integration with Health Connect for accessing Android step data
- Virtual sapling cultivation and growth system
- Point management and usage records
- Sapling growth progress visualization
- Daily step goal setting and reminder features
3. User Eligibility and Account
3.1 User Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use HealthSprout
- You must have legal capacity to enter into agreements
- All information you provide must be truthful, accurate, and complete
3.2 Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must not share your account information with others
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized account use
4. User Responsibilities and Conduct
When using HealthSprout, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful personal information and health data
- Use the service only for personal health management purposes
- Not abuse, damage, or interfere with the normal operation of the service
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not distribute illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
- Not attempt unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Not use automated tools or scripts to access the service
5. Health Connect Integration
For Android users, HealthSprout may access your health data through Health Connect:
- We only access health data types you explicitly authorize
- You can revoke or modify permissions at any time in Health Connect settings
- Health Connect usage is governed by its own terms and privacy policy
- We do not modify or delete original data in Health Connect
6. Data Usage and Privacy
Your privacy is very important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of personal information is detailed in our Privacy Policy. Using HealthSprout indicates your agreement to process your information according to the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The HealthSprout application and all its content, features, and technology are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use.

- HealthSprout does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment services
- All content and features within the app are for general informational purposes only
- HealthSprout must not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- For any health problems or concerns, please consult qualified medical professionals
- In medical emergencies, please immediately contact local emergency services
- HealthSprout is not responsible for medical decisions made based on app information
9. Third-Party Services
HealthSprout may integrate third-party services (such as Firebase, Health Connect). These services have their own terms and conditions, and your use is also subject to their terms.
10. Service Availability
We strive to ensure continuous availability of HealthSprout but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the following rights:
- Temporarily or permanently modify, suspend, or terminate services
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates
- Limit the use of certain features for technical reasons
11. User-Generated Content
Content you create in HealthSprout (such as notes, comments) remains yours, but you grant us the right to use, store, and process this content to provide services.
12. Agreement Termination
This Agreement terminates under the following circumstances:
- You delete your account
- We terminate your account (such as for violating this Agreement)
- We stop providing HealthSprout services
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- HealthSprout provides services "as is" without any warranties
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use the service
- Our total liability does not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Agreement should first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be submitted to [applicable court] jurisdiction.
